Pulling for Brian. I don't even want to begin to think of what he's going through. Keep fighting and trust in the drs and medical staff.

Prayers for Brian.

Thanks for the Gene Hart stories... he will forever be missed by me and just about everyone who cut their hockey teeth listening to him.

Lastly... once again pushing for Lou Nolan to be Inducted in the Flyers Hall of Fame... As for players, if Mark Recchi isn't the next inductee--and done soon--the Flyers should be completely ashamed of themselves, and the Hall will lose much of its credibility in my thinking.

Thanks again for your great work, Bill.

No such thing as a small donation. Every dollar will help as that family has a long long road ahead of them.

Not bad for a 4th round pick. Ended up being the high scorer for that draft class that included Mike Modano, Jeremy Roenick, Teemu Selanne, Rod Brind"Amour, and Alex Mogylny among many other notable players.

At 75 years old the Chief is still doing the pre and post game shows for Tampa. That’s a 45 year broadcasting career after his playing days. All of that Florida sunshine and golf has preserved him. He still looks great.

Gene elevated the game call. He once referred to blood as claret.

OMFG.

I do what little I can and put $10 per paycheck to a GoFundMe.

It's awful, but who knows, the kid is young enough and they do AMAZING stuff with stem cells.

AMAZING stuff, like the future is now and spinal/brain issues could be resolved partially in the coming years.

Gene also called the harness races at Brandywine Raceway. One of my fondest memories is meeting him with Jack Kiser (Harness writer for the Philadelphia Daily News) at the track. He had a story a minute. What a mensch!

Is Jim still doing the flyers games? He was just released from the Phils right?

And just to clarify, this is (frank)ing hilarious

if Mark Recchi isn't the next inductee--and done soon--the Flyers should be completely ashamed of themselves, and the Hall will lose much of its credibility in my thinking.

God-speed, Brian Page. May you recover fully. My family’s thoughts and prayers will be with you. Gene Hart, along with my older brother are two of my main influences in my love for the Flyers. Listening to Gene, as well as Harry Kalas on the radio while the Flyers and Phillies were on those west coast trips provided great memories for my brother and me as we drifted off to sleep, hoping we’d wake up the next morning hearing of a Flyers/ Phil’s win! Life is a fragile thing. Brian Page, fight brother!

Don't call me Francis ((South Jersey people may get this)).

Mark Recchi should have been inducted already...frankly, that the Flyers have held a grudge is and haven't is really disappointing...Not saying that he is the only one worthy of the PFHoF, merely that based on his Stats, contribution and the time since he played here, being overlooked this long is nothing short of insulting... He is a HHoF Member and ranks high in multiple NHL all-time Stats, as well as Flyers ones. Other Flyers in the Hall have had their numbers in the rafters...not asking for that, but being the the PFHoF is a no-brainer, and the fact that he's not already in there is imo a joke, and does for me lower the credibility. Just look up his Stats, both Flyers and NHL, and then tell me I'm incorrect.

... BTW; I wasn't upset... although if the meme was directed at some other pars of my post I might have been.

There is merit there. 5th in assists (395)
9th in points (627)
9th in goals created (233.3)
9th in GWG (39)
5th in APG (.66)
5th in PPG (1.04)

Rex played more seasons for the Flyers (10) than any other team. I get some people hold a grudge against him for some stuff but I don't.
